Purely theoretical mental training has reached its limits. With the integration of these interactive modules, the NEXOO infrastructure takes you to a truly applied and measurable neuro-cognitive conditioning.
These tools are designed to put your nervous system under high tension by recreating the instability, speed, and urgency of your sporting environment. Rather than simply talking about concentration, you test it directly under the pressure of the stopwatch and visual overload.
The overall objective of this series of exercises is to optimize your information processing along three factual axes:
-
Speed of execution: Drastically reduce your reaction time to complex and multiple stimuli.
-
Motor inhibition: Eliminating faulty impulsivity so as never again to fall for a feint or anticipate an action incorrectly.
-
Resistance to disturbances: Maintaining selective attention and immediate memorization (working memory) despite spatial chaos and distractors.
It's mental preparation transformed into data. You stop assuming you're focused, you prove it by making the right decision, in a fraction of a second, under extreme conditions.
1. Dynamic Concentration Grids
-
The concept: A timed alphanumeric matrix, subjected to rotations and incorporating visual distractors (colors, reversed fonts).
-
The objective: To maintain precise visual scanning and absolute selective attention despite the constant disturbance of the spatial environment.
2. Inhibition Protocol
-
The concept: A rapid decision test in the face of contradictory stimuli (e.g., an arrow pointing left with the word "RIGHT" written inside).
-
The goal: To train the brain's ability to block an immediate cognitive reflex in order to make the right decision. It's the direct tool for learning not to fall for an opponent's feint.
3. Multi-Target Tracking
-
The concept: A visual tracking exercise requiring the simultaneous identification and tracking of several targets in crisscrossing and chaotic movement.
-
The goal: To develop peripheral vision and divided attention, essential for simultaneously analyzing the trajectories of your teammates, your opponents and the ball.
4. Go/No-Go Task
-
The concept: A generator of random visual signals imposing an explosive motor action (Go) or strict immobility (No-Go) under strong time constraint.
-
The goal: To tame impulsiveness. The tool reduces your raw reaction time while penalizing faulty anticipation and false starts.
5. Space Memory Flash
-
The concept: An ultra-fast display (fraction of a second) of a target positioning on a matrix, which you must reproduce from memory once the screen is blank.
-
The goal: To strengthen your visuospatial working memory. This allows you to instantly encode a tactical plan during a match and use it as soon as you look away.
