The objective of this session is to discuss the areas of your athletic life where you feel complete engagement, as well as those where you could increase your presence and involvement to progress. We will explore the actions to take to maintain strong and lasting engagement.
Session Objectives:
Help the athlete strengthen their engagement in their daily practice and in their sports relationships.
Foster authentic and present communication.
Improve self-confidence and belief in one's abilities.

- What results do you hope to achieve by strengthening your engagement?

Part 1: Understanding the Fears that Hinder Engagement
As an athlete, you may face certain fears that hinder your total engagement. These fears can manifest in various ways, especially when it comes to pushing your limits and aiming for ambitious goals.
Here are four common fears:
- Fear of loss: the fear of losing something important, such as time with loved ones, personal comfort, or opportunities in other areas.
- Fear of the process: the fear that the process of transformation or intensive training will be too demanding or difficult.
- Fear of the result: the fear that all the efforts made will not yield the expected results, that achieving a goal will not be as satisfying as anticipated.
- Fear of rejection: the fear that your sports choices or priorities will be misunderstood or not accepted by your loved ones.
To strengthen your engagement in your sports practice, take a moment to reflect on these fears and complete the sentences below. Use an additional sheet if necessary.
